Got an 8 mile run in before work at the fitness center.....ONLY 11 more left for after work!!...Mike - I have no time AND no life. Each day only adds about 8 to 16 minutes to our "running" times from the previous day....assuming you can cover the ground as quickly as you did the day before!! Does everybody still running work or go to school? (Previous 7 day totals will now be > 100 miles!) DaveP.
15 miles this morning on the bike path; 4 miles this afternoon through the neighborhood.
I made myself a one more mile T-shirt using an old white T-shirt and a laundry marker. It says "one more mile" on the front and has all of the days in November in a calendar format. I plan to "X" out each day as it is completed. I have everyone's first name listed on the back. Very low budget and low tech, but I think it will end up meaning more to me than most of the race T-shirts I have boxed up in my basement.
I got 6 miles in running on the sidewalk around Mililani Town Center while pushing my 2 year old in the jogging stroller. Only 13 miles to go after my wifes b-day party. I should be able to do that in 2:45 or so....I think:)
Hey Dave I am a disabled veteran and stay at home dad. But I am still struggling to find time after my wife gets home to run and get sleep. I think I am not getting adequate amount of sleep.
Well as far as work Dave, I have two jobs, a wife, two daughters and no life. I fit in runs when I can. I figure that I will time out before my legs give out. As far as running I got in 12 miles this morning "running" my errands around town. Then a 2 mile walk this afternoon. I finished it all up with a 5+ mile run with the group tonight around the town square. Yes Ted I would also love a shirt! Mike work on it for next year.
Ran 11 more after work on the treadmill. 5 on one and then 6 on another...my legs were numb for the last 3 miles. Walked a mile too. Total ran = 19 miles + 1 more walking.....I'm not ready for tomorrow. Stay at home dad definetly counts as a job! I'm thinking Ted is retired with no kids at home and has nothing to do but run......my money is now on Ted.
I think all the east coast guys are in...waiting on Devon and Erik. If Erik is in Cali (likely) then he has til 3 am EDT to post, and Devon the usual 5 am....comments are unmoderated now so they should show up as soon as posting.
Left San Diego at 2:30am to drive to Long Beach. Finished flying at 1pm, drove to LAX, walked a mile, caught a flight home to El Paso, just in time for a in-law funeral where I was asked to speak last-minute. Got home at 9pm, on the track soon after. 3 miles of median, repeated 6 times. Wet shoes the whole way, first wearing of a warm hat this season, first-time ever headlamp use. I'm still running too fast but my heart is not feeling it, nor are my knees. My legs on the other hand...
with 10 minutes to spare i com ein with my extra 13 miles (6 ran earlier today). I MADE IT!!! gotta run though, i have to get up early to get in my 20 for the day (8AM start). still running on that crummy road:( see you high speed people later. you can tell i am tired. anyway......

Ted,
How about a picture of your shirt so Mike can put it up on the blog? I think that would be pretty cool!
