DAY 9

Later this week, I am supposed to overnight in Phoenix so I would like to say that I believe I get the time zone difference in that case (I am going to need it to run that night.) I will lose any benefit when I fly home the next day...so it is a net balance. Does anyone have a problem with that?

I would also like to say that I see that this blog is getting a fair amount of visitors/traffic. PLEASE everyone feel free to comment and spur us along to not quit...even if you aren't a competitor in this, your comments ARE welcome.

Nine miles through Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington with my Human Powered Racing teammates.

On to double digits.

11+ on roads in Solon (OH) with Southeast Running Club (SERC). It was cool & wet....I'm actually looking forward to slowing down some while the mileage increases. I'm also very jealous of Devon running everyday in paradise.

got in my 9 mile as part of a 10+ mile trail run in MAF. Let the fun begin! 10 or more miles everyday during the week could be a bit of a challenge.

Oakland/Berkeley: 5 miles along the coast, 3 miles on the treadmill. I couldn't find a tall blonde to run with, but I found a short brunette to walk the last mile with.
I'm amazed that I have found so much time to run this week. If I only had such goals every month.

Just barely got in 9 miles on the dreadmill. I hate that thing but it was it or drop so I took the torture. This week is going to be tough for those of us that are married my wife is wanting here honey do list done and I can see all these miles edging out some house work. Good luck to all!!

my total mileage guess is 2452

it breaks down like this:

Ed Dropped after 4 days
next runner will drop after 12 days
next runner will drop after 15 days
next runner will drop after 16 days
next runner will drop after 18 days
next runner will drop after 20 days
next runner will drop after 22 days
next runner will drop after 27 days
and the last stubborn on of us will make it to 31 days to get the extra cash for their charity.

7 in. Only the Pineapple Express remains. Fill the day Devon! As you run in paradise, I was wearing a hat and gloves running in the mid thirties...

Ran 9 miles as part of my 20 mile long run. Did 4 washing machine loops on the Kaunala Trail through the rainforest and along the windy and rainy ridges. I ran with my buddy Tom and ended up saving some kid who got his foot stuck in a tree. I don't know how. Sorry you all have to run in cold weather;)

Josh I will probably be your runner who drops at 12 miles. I wish I could do more but with 68 days until HURT 100 I have to not let myself get burnt out. I am not dropping YET but maybe soon.

Well it is off to sleep and enjoy a well deserved easy 10 miles (possibly with little elevation because today was 9600' gain)tomorrow. Jah Bless and Good Luck on double digits and finding time to do it:)

Don't forget when it comes time to make a decision, you can walk a few days if you have the time...to try to stay in it longer!!!!

Nice run Devon...damn! 20 miles with 9600 gain? a little above and beyond? :)

Just a cheerleader admiring the race from the sideline. Should I place bets or odds on who's going to win just from reading your comments? Nah!

Go everyone! You are all in for a crazy week, good luck!

I thought it would be fun to join, but I need my mandatory day off per week. (maybe new rule for next time?) Thought it would be fun watching people choose their day off in the week. Take it early to keep you in the race, or hang tight until the end of the week to take advantage of missing a high mileage day.

Heard about this for the ultralist Mike, incase you were wondering.

Thanks Will...I haven't gotten back on the ultralist since I changed my email address a little while back. Glad to hear it!
